The Cathedral Corset is inspired by the cathedral bras of the 1950's with their main feature being the triangular 'cathedral' points at the bust line detailed with rows of retro-style stitching.  These are enhanced by the gently swooping seams which draw the eye towards the centre of the corset making a sleek and graceful line which enhances the illusion of a disappearing waist!  This original design is a therefore a beautiful fusion of old and new, seamlessly bringing together the elegance of mid-century design, with perfect fit for the modern body.  Pretty lingerie style details include adjustable bra straps with little bow details and customisable design details include a belt, cording, or bone channel embroidery features.

SIZING

• This overbust corset is made from an existing pattern and can be modified to suit your personal measurements

• Our standard waist reduction is 2-4" with a 1-2" lacing gap - this will vary depending on body type

• Please try not to vanity meausre - a proper fitting corset will not only be more comfortable and more durable, but it will give you a much more dramatic shape

ORDERING

There are two options for ordering your made to order corset

1. Custom no fitting: This option gives you a choice of colour and will be made to your measurements. If the corset doesn’t give you a satisfactory fit, you can return and exchange it. We’ll check your measurements and let you know if there seems to be any anomolies

2. Custom with fitting: With this option you can choose any colour, submit your measures, and have a mock-up fitting which can be remote or in person. This will give you a near bespoke fit. Corsets which are fully customised in this way are not returnable.
