This is a very pretty single layer corset (centre picture) in cotton sateen coutil with external bone casings in satin coutil and a pretty lace embellishment with golden flossing upon the staggered bone channels.  

The corset is boned throughout with steel boning - some of the external casings are 'false' for aesthetic purposes but hide a full boning channel extending over the entire length of the corset.   The design is inspired by a Victorian corset in the world famous Symington Collection.

The corset has a front modesty placket to hide flesh or clothing under the corset at the centre front where a gap can sometimes become apparent.
