BY ROAD

Cuckoo Lane is easily accessible from the A40 which runs between Oxford and Cheltenham.  If coming from Oxford, follow the signs from the Pear Tree interchange towards Witney and Cheltenham.  At the next roundabout (Eynsham) go straight ahead towards Witney/Cheltenham and proceed a little way, past the traffic lights.  Shortly after the traffic lights, and almost opposite the Evenlode pub on the left there is a right turn into Cuckoo Lane signposted “Freeland”.  Follow this road for a while and take the first left turn signposted “North Leigh”.  At the end of that road turn right and proceed along the beautiful country lane until nearly at the end where you will see on the left, a signpost to “Eynsham Saw Mill” and “Cuckoo Lane Artists Studios”  Turn in, and then immediately right into the lower car park.

If you are coming from Cheltenham, drive down the A40 towards Witney - go past Witney towards Eynsham. Just after the dual carriageway narrows to a single lane past Witney there is a left turn to “Barnard Gate”. Take this turn and follow the road around then take the next left into Cuckoo Lane. This is a narrow country lane with passing points - proceed down here until nearly at the end - on the way you will see a kids Nursery on the left and Oxford Stonemasons. The turn after Oxford Stone Masons is our turn. You will see on the left, a signpost to “Eynsham Saw Mill” and “Cuckoo Lane Artists Studios”  Turn in, and then immediately right into the lower car park.  If you miss the turn for Barnard Gate, don’t worry, keep going as there’s a second turn into Cuckoo Lane - see directions above.

For Sat Nav, the post code is OX29 6PW.

The Sew Curvy Studio is a Victorian cottage adjacent to the carpark with a rambling honeysuckle over the green door and number 26 on the door in brass numerals.  Just knock and enter!
