Aurora is a plain overbust Victorian style corset with a shallow bustline, perfect for using under a period costume, or for lingerie wear. Its designed to contain everything smoothly, with a classically flattering hip line to frame the perfectly nipped waist.  Classic, simple, elegant. 

This corset will be hand made to order in virtually any colour of silk, or a wide range of coutils - see the options lower down.

DETAILS:

• Victorian style mid-overbust corset with a shallow bustline for wear under clothes as part of a costume, or as a fashion item for the smaller bust.

• Archetypal hourglass shape

• Designed to flatten tummy, smooth the torso, nip the waist, enhance the bust, and hide underarm spillage

• Standard waist reduction is 4" with a 1-2" lacing gap in ready to wear.

• Perfect as day or evening wear can be dressed up or down or used as supportive lingerie

• Top quality steel components with a combination of flat and spiral steel bones

• Nickel free eyelets

• Designed to suit most body shapes.

• Stiff underbusk as standard to improve comfort and shape

• Available in a wide range of coutil patterns, or in a wide range of silk colours

• Customisation available - hip can be cut higher or lower to suit

• Single layer construction which makes it light and suitable as lingerie while also being strong, smooth, breathable and durable.

• 12 panels, 6 each side, with triple stitched seams and co-ordinated bone casings

• Narrow waist stay for maximum shape and comfort

• Tubular cotton laces or ribbon lacing in co-ordinating colours

• 100% natural fabrics of the highest quality

• Choice of split busk opener or zip fastner

• Can be embellished with your choice of laces or flossing embroidery - please ask for details.

SIZING

• This overbust corset is made from an existing pattern and can be modified to suit your personal measurements

• Our standard waist reduction is 2-4" with a 1-2" lacing gap - this will vary depending on body type

• Please try not to vanity meausre - a proper fitting corset will not only be more comfortable and more durable, but it will give you a much more dramatic shape

ORDERING

Upon check-out you will be directed to a form in order to submit your measurements and choose your colour from the choices giving. The price does not include a fitting. If the corset doesn’t give you a satisfactory fit, you can return and exchange it *terms apply. JB Corsets have an incredibly wide range of fit and will suit most body types. We’ll check your measurements and let you know if there seems to be any anomolies so that we can double check before cutting.
